Sink Like A Stone | 2011
Etching. 27 x 39cm
In July 2011 Greece was in the grip of a major financial crisis. I used images from the Greek newspapers as inspiration for a suite of etchings.
Amphitrite | 2011
Unique print. Etching. 27 x 39cm
My etching of the pebbly beaches of Skopelos is overlaid against a background of Greek newspapers decrying the nation's fiscal crisis.
In Greek mythology, Amphitrite was a sea goddess, wife to Poseidon and mother of Triton. The timeless ocean and her goddess in modern Greece.
